Israel’s Strategic Crisis
Over the course of more than 70 years since the establishment of the State of Israel, the Israeli people have been constantly at war and have consistently achieved victory. These unbroken victories might easily lead to one conclusion: that the Israelis possess not only a regional competitive advantage but even a global one. These overall competitive advantages (overall military capabilities) form the foundation for ensuring the existence of the State of Israel and will continue to be the basis for guaranteeing its continued existence in the future. However, Ye Qiquan—known as “Mad Ye”—offers an alternative narrative from the perspective of the philosophy of knowledge and reason. He argues that Israel faces a crisis in formulating long-term national and state strategies. In the not-too-distant future, the key elements necessary to safeguard and maintain Israel’s existence will face significant challenges. Israelis need to deeply reflect on the crises they may encounter.
